It is illegal to tickle a woman in Virginia.

Hmmm.....I think I will leave this one alone

Another one for Nevada

It is illegal to lie down on the sidewalk in Reno, NV

So if you are having a sit-in, then don't lay down if you get tired. :)

Here is one for Nevada

In Nevada, it is illegal to drive a camel on the highway.

Hmm....but that leaves a lot of animals open, what about an emu?

This one is a doozie

In Rochester, Michigan, All bathing suits must have been inspected by the head of police.

Okay, let's all parade down to the chief of police and let him inspect the bathing suits, don't forget the guys too.

More Dumb Laws

In Kalamazoo, Michigan:

It is against the law to serenade your girlfriend.

So guys, no singing in the streets. :) Obviously that is not a good way to get out of the dog house...try flowers.

The next stupid law

No person shall throw an abandoned hoop skirt into any street or on any sidewalk, under penalty of a five- dollar fine for each offense.

So, I guess this means if hoops skirts ever come back into style then we better be careful with them. No hankie-pankie in the streets.... :)

Stupid Laws in Michigan

Here is a fun one and it helps with the previous post...

It is illegal for a man to scowl at his wife on Sunday.

So the wife can get her hair cut on Sunday and the man can't scowl at her or they can sue each other. :)

Makes sense to me.

A woman isn’t allowed to cut her own hair without her husband’s permission.

Can you imagine the husband that would file charges against his wife that cut her hair????

What is the woman tried to file charges against the man???
